Balance of Visible Trade showed a deficit of Rs 17,207 million in March 2024, higher by 12.8% compared to the previous month and by 19.1% compared to the corresponding month of 2023.
In March 2024, total imports increased by 11.0% compared to February 2024 and by 9.1% compared to March 2023 whereas total exports increased by 7.8% compared to February 2024 and decreased by 6.3% compared to March 2023.
