Logo design specifications
• The logo design should be original, visually impactful and simple;
• The logo must be in high resolution of at least 300 dpi;
• The selected logo shall be used as an official visual in different formats and sizes in publications, letters, envelopes, website and others, at both national and international level;
• The logo design shall include an icon along with the full name of the NECA: “National Environment Cleaning Authority”; and the slogan of NECA
• The logo design shall be in line with the vision, purpose and slogan of the NECA;
• Each logo design should be accompanied by a brief description and how best it captures the essence of the vision and slogan of NECA;
• Colour specifications: the use of the national flag colour codes would be an advantage
Eligibility Criteria
The competition is open to citizens above 18 years old of the Republic of Mauritius meeting the eligibility criteria below:
• Participants are required to submit testimonial(s) of at least three years past experience within last five years in the field of graphic design.
How to apply?
• Each participant shall submit a maximum of two logo designs;
• Logo to be submitted in (i) colour, (ii) greyscale and (iii) black and white format; (to be placed under ‘Logo design specifications’ or ‘How to apply’)
• Participants are also required to submit a brief of the methodology used and research made in the design of the logo;
• To submit a copy of both sides of National Identity Card (NIC);
• Participants are required to submit the completed participation form as per Annex A, and the logo design, and all relevant documents as listed above, in both soft (pen drive) and hard copies to the National Environment Cleaning Authority, 2nd Floor, Wing A, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Tower, Ebene, Cybercity; and
• Participation forms are available at NECA Head Office 2nd Floor, Wing A, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Tower, Ebene, Cybercity
Deadlines
• Deadline for submission: Thursday 30 November 2023 at latest 15 00 hrs.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Jury Panel
• A Jury panel will be constituted to evaluate the contested entries and select the winner of the logo.
• Shortlisted candidates may be requested to review and adjust the logo designs at the discretion of the jury panel before a final selection is made.
• The decision of the Jury panel shall be final and binding.
Cash Prize
• The winner of the logo competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
