Apex Group hires new Head of Financial Crime

Apex Group, the global financial services provider, has appointed Mark Le Page as its new Head of Financial Crime in Guernsey. Apex Guernsey, with an AUA of over $100bn, is one of the region’s best established and largest providers of fund and corporate services to the key sectors of private equity, closed-ended investment schemes, open-ended and listed business.

Mark brings a wealth of industry and regulatory knowledge and experience to the role after many years working for the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. Apex Group acknowledges the importance of upholding Guernsey’s reputation internationally and wish to build an elite financial crime team to augment growth in its offering through industry leading technology and client service.

A renowned specialist in the funds and financial crime industry throughout the Channel Islands and the UK, Mark’s role is a key strategic hire for Apex Group as it continues to build its strength and quality in the region. With more than 30 years’ experience across financial services, regulatory services and the accountancy profession, Mark will join the board of Apex fund and Corporate Services (Guernsey) Limited as well as leading the integration of the Financial Crime teams.
