The Global Opportunities Committee (GOC) of the Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) proudly announceds the appointment of David Jeb as the Regional Lead for the Indian Ocean.

This strategic move aims to amplify global opportunities and foster economic development, trade, and partnerships across the Indian Ocean region, encompassing Madagascar, Reunion Island, Seychelles, Comoros, Zanzibar, and Mauritius.

“We are delighted to welcome David Jeb as the Regional Lead for the Indian Ocean. His experience and expertise in the region will undoubtedly contribute to the success of our mission,” said Mr. Ricardo Berrís, Chairman of the Global Opportunities Committee. Mr. David Jeb, a luminary entrepreneur, and the Chairman & Founder of Quantum Vert LLC, brings a wealth of experience in Renewable Energy, Bullion Processing, refining, trading, and Banking.

Mr. David Jeb’s appointment coincides with the launch of the GOC’s ambitious 10-year plan to reach $100 billion in global transactions for Black businesses, designed to boost global trade, investments, and partnerships for its members. The plan includes initiatives such as virtual and in-person programs, delegation visits, and strategic engagements for the benefits of the community.

As a highlight of the GOC’s initiatives, the organization is organizing a 2-day conference called “GO Global” in Atlanta, Georgia. In his role as the Regional Lead, Mr. David Jeb is mobilizing Black-owned businesses from the Indian Ocean Islands to participate actively in this event, fostering international networking and collaboration opportunities.

As a precursor to the GO Global Conference, Mr. David Jeb is organizing a mineral traders, processors, and investors’ symposium and networking workshop in Mauritius.

Because of its geographical location, and of the geo-strategic potential that it holds, Mauritius is a secure and prime business hub; a fast growing preferential gateway for African businesses, like other global players. It is a bridge and fast developing logistical platform with modern infrastructure, enabling environment and well balanced; socially, politically and economically. Mauritius assumes the same role to Africa that Singapore played towards Asia, and as such brings dynamism to the Black businesses community. These parameters informed Mr. David Jeb’s decision to choose Mauritius as the Regional base, having been a resident on the Island for a cumulative 10 years now.
