Balance of Visible Trade showed a deficit of Rs 16,432 million in June 2024, higher by 11.4% compared to the previous month and by 18.0% compared to the corresponding month of 2023.
In June 2024, total imports increased by 7.1% compared to May 2024 and by 20.3% compared to June 2023 whereas total exports increased by 0.8% compared to May 2024 and by 24.2% compared to June 2023.
