Balance of Visible Trade showed a deficit of Rs 18,892 million in September 2024, higher by 6.9% compared to the previous month and by 47.7% compared to the corresponding month of 2023.
In September 2024, total imports increased by 3.7% compared to August 2024 and by 33.6% compared to September 2023 whereas in September 2024, total exports decreased by 1.9% compared to August 2024 and increased by 12.8% compared to September 2023.
