Campus Abroad Mauritius rencontre un franc succès avec l’organisation du salon Study in the USA 2024 au Hennessy Park Hotel. Cet événement a offert aux étudiants mauriciens une occasion unique de découvrir les opportunités d’études supérieures aux États-Unis.

Grâce à la présence de 15 universités américaines de renom, les étudiants ont pu obtenir des renseignments essentiels et des conseils sur mesure pour concrétiser leurs projets d’études à l’étranger. Le salon Study in the USA 2024 a été une véritable opportunité pour les étudiants mauriciens souhaitant poursuivre leurs études supérieures aux États-Unis. L’événement a réuni des représentants de plusieurs universités américaines prestigieuses, comme l’Université de l’Arizona, Suffolk University à Boston, Oregon State University, Colorado State University, Illinois State University, Marshall University, University of Oklahoma, Washington State University, et bien d’autres. Ces universités, reconnues pour leur qualité académique, leurs recherches innovantes et la diversité de leurs campus, ont permis aux étudiants d’échanger directement avec leurs représentants. Il a encouragé les étudiants à considérer les États-Unis comme une option, malgré les préoccupations initiales liées à la distance ou au coût des études à l’étranger. In her address, she stated, “The USA is a world leader in education and continues to house the highest number of universities in the top 100 globally. The total number of international students in the US has reached an all-time high, with over 1.1 million international students enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year. This represents a 7% increase from the previous year. Many students are unaware of the numerous excellent US universities outside of the Ivy League that provide high-quality education at affordable prices. Today’s event will highlight several of these universities, which not only offer excellent education but also generous scholarships.”

The event also featured Mr. Jonathan Koehler, Public Affairs Officer from the US Embassy in Mauritius, who shared his perspectives on the educational opportunities available to Mauritian students. He emphasised the large number of accredited US universities, with over 4,000 institutions offering a wide array of programs in every conceivable field of study.
