MFT announced the addition of one of Brazil’s fastest rising karting talents, Christian Mosimann, to its esteemed academy. Following successful discussions in recent weeks, the young driver from Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in his racing career.
Christian Mosimann discovered karting at the age of six and has since established himself as one of Brazil’s most promising young racers. Despite managing Type 1 diabetes, his dedication and talent have propelled him to the top ranks of Brazilian karting.
His impressive achievements include:
2020: Winner of the South Brazilian Karting Championship.
2021: National Brazilian Champion, making headlines by climbing from 12th to 1st place in a legendary final, securing victory with two decisive overtakes in a single corner. He also claimed the Santa Catarina Karting Championship and competed in the São Paulo Karting Championship and Copa Brasil.
2022: South Brazilian Karting Champion for the second time.
2023 Champion of Copa Beto Carrero
2024: Competed in the OK Junior category, demonstrating strong performances in the Copa Brasil de Kart and Copa São Paulo Light. Winner of endurance karting race in Santa Catarina
In 2025, Christian takes a significant step in his career, relocating to Europe with his father to pursue his dream of becoming a professional racing driver. Last month, he completed his first European test with CRG at Franciacorta, Italy, as part of his transition into the international scene.
For the second half of the year, MFT will begin preparing Christian for the next stage of his development, introducing him to Formula 4 and race cars as he continues to refine his skills on the path to professional motorsport.

Suite à des discussions fructueuses ces dernières semaines, le jeune pilote de Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brésil, s’apprête à entamer un nouveau chapitre passionnant de sa carrière de course.
Christian Mosimann a découvert le karting à l’âge de six ans et s’est depuis imposé comme l’un des jeunes coureurs les plus prometteurs du Brésil. Malgré sa gestion du diabète de type 1, son dévouement et son talent l’ont propulsé au sommet du karting brésilien.
En 2025, Christian franchira une étape importante dans sa carrière en s’installant en Europe avec son père pour poursuivre son rêve de devenir pilote de course professionnel. Le mois dernier, il a effectué son premier essai européen avec CRG à Franciacorta, en Italie, dans le cadre de sa transition vers la scène internationale.
Pour le second semestre de l’année, MFT commencera à préparer Christian pour la prochaine étape de son développement, en l’initiant à la Formule 4 et aux voitures de course, alors qu’il continue d’affiner ses compétences sur la voie du sport automobile professionnel.
