
Brian Neil Joseph Glover, the new Permanent Representative of Mauritius to the United Nations Office at Geneva, presented his credentials on Tuesday 8 April 2025 to Tatiana Valovaya, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Prior to his appointment to Geneva, Mr. Glover had been working as a Barrister at the Glover Chambers from 2021 to 2025. He was a freelance consultant and trainer on equal opportunities, anti-discrimination, human rights, right to privacy, civil rights and data protection from 2016 to 2021. From March 2012 to April 2016, he served as Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission of Mauritius. He worked as a Barrister in Mauritius from 1992 to 2012.
Mr. Glover has a bachelor’s degree in laws from the University of Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom. He was called to the Degree of the Utter Bar of England and Wales at Middle Temple Inns of Court, London, United Kingdom in 1992 and was called to the Mauritian Bar in 1992. He was born on 22 July 1969 in Mauritius and is married, with one child.of
Mr. Glover received his letter of credence from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Hon. Dhananjay Ramful, on Thursday 3 April, at the Minister’s office in Port-Louis.

Diplômé en droit de l’Université d’Exeter, il est né à Maurice le 22 juillet 1969, est marié et père d’un enfant. Il a reçu sa lettre de créance du Ministre des Affaires étrangères mauricien le 3 avril à Port-Louis.
