Youth Dance Festival - Seychelles / Réunion et Maurice du 24 au 27 avril 2025

Wake Up Entertainment organise ala 1ʳᵉ édition du « Youth Dance Festival » du 24 au 27 avril 2025 dans plusieurs localités de Maurice. A caractère régionale, vingt-cinq jeunes talents des Seychelles et de La Réunion se joindront à plus de soixante danseurs mauriciens pour quatre jours dédiés aux danses urbaines.

Prioritairement destiné aux 7-16 ans – avec une catégorie 17-25 ans – ce festival promeut l’échange culturel et offre une alternative artistique saine à la jeunesse.

Programme :

Jeudi 24 avril 2025. – 4 ateliers Afro, Hip‑Hop & Break au Helvetia Youth Hub (St Pierre)

Vendredi 25 avril 2025. – Training Breakdance à l’Institut français de Maurice

Samedi 26 avril 2025. – Battles 1 vs 1 (Breaking, Hip‑Hop, Afro) au Port‑Louis Waterfront, 13h‑17h

Dimanche 27 avril 2025. – Show de clôture à Bagatelle Mall, 14 à 16h

Wake Up Entertainment proudly presents the inaugural « Youth Dance Festival, » a vibrant celebration of urban dance taking place across Mauritius from April 24th to 27th, 2025. This exciting regional event will bring together over sixty talented Mauritian dancers with twenty-five exceptional young artists from the Seychelles and La Réunion for four days of exhilarating performances and cultural exchange.

Primarily aimed at young people aged 7-16, with a category for 17-25 year olds, the festival offers a positive and engaging artistic outlet for youth, fostering cultural understanding and providing a dynamic alternative. Thursday, April 24th, 2025: Immerse yourself in the rhythms of Afro, Hip-Hop & Break dance at four dynamic workshops held at the Helvetia Youth Hub (St Pierre).

Friday, April 25th, 2025: Witness the intensity of a Breakdance training session at the prestigious Institut français de Maurice.

Saturday, April 26th, 2025: Experience the thrill of head-to-head Battles 1 vs 1 (Breaking, Hip-Hop, Afro) at the Port-Louis Waterfront from 1 PM to 5 PM. Prepare to be amazed!

Sunday, April 27th, 2025: Join us for the spectacular Closing Show at Bagatelle Mall from 2 PM to 4 PM. It’s the perfect finale to an unforgettable festival!
