Active clouds which were influencing the local weather are gradually moving away towards the North, hence the risks of heavy thundery showers have decreased considerably.

No torrential rain warning is in force in Mauritius.

However, passing showers, moderate at times are still expected to the East, South and over the Central Plateau. Fog in certain areas will persist reducing the visibility.

The public is advised to: 1. avoid already flooded places, river banks and other water courses. 2. be very cautious on the roads due to reduced visibility in showers and in fog.
