
Dr. Huang Shifang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mauritius, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Dhananjay Ramful, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade on Thursday 8 May. Her Excellency Dr. Huang Shifang was accompanied by officials from the Chinese Embassy.
Minister Ramful and Ambassador Huang Shifang exchanged views on the bilateral ties between the two countries and the desire to strengthen the cooperation in various fields. Dr. Huang Shifang arrived in Mauritius on 2nd May 2025. She takes over from Ambassador Zhu Liying who was in office from 2021 to end of 2024.
The new Chinese Ambassador presented her credentials to the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Dharambeer Gokhool, on Monday 5 May at the State House. The diplomatic ties between Mauritius and the People’s Republic of China were established on 15 April 1972.

Ils ont discuté du renforcement de la coopération bilatérale. Arrivée le 2 mai, Dr. Huang Shifang succède à l’ambassadrice Zhu Liying. Elle a présenté ses lettres de créance au Président Gokhool le 5 mai.
