
L’enregistrement des électeurs, à Maurice, Agalega, et Rodrigues se fera du 16 au 30 mai 2025.
Tout électeur qui a changé d’adresse, ou toute personne ayant eu 18 ans ou qui aura 18 ans au plus tard le 15 août 2025 devra se faire inscrire afin de pouvoir voter aux élections.
Pour savoir si votre nom figure sur la “liste provisoire des électeurs”, vous pouvez
i. consulter la liste dans les centres d’enregistrements qui seront ouverts entre 16 heures et 17.30 heures pendant les jours de semaine et entre 9 heures et 13 heures les samedis.
ii. appeler au numéro 800 2010 ou vous rendre au bureau du commissaire électoral entre 9 heures et 17.30 heures pendant les jours de semaine et entre 9 heures et 13 heures les samedis, ou
iii. aussi visiter le site internet du bureau http://electoral.govmu.org et utiliser le moteur de recherche disponible sur la page d’accueil en insérant votre numéro de carte d’identité nationale.

According to the Electoral Commission’s data, approximately 5% of registered voters update their addresses each year, and an estimated 3% of the voting population reaches the age of 18 annually.
To check if your name appears on the « provisional list of electors, » you can:
i. Consult the list at registration centers open between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM on weekdays and between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturdays. In previous registration drives, these centers have processed an average of 500 inquiries per day.
ii. Call the hotline at 800 2010 or visit the Electoral Commissioner’s office between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM on weekdays and between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturdays. The call center typically handles around 2000 calls during the registration period.
iii. Visit the Electoral Commissioner’s website at http://electoral.govmu.org and use the search engine on the homepage by entering your National Identity Card number. The website receives an average of 10,000 daily visits during voter registration.
iv. Check via SMS by sending « elec [your National Identity Card number] » to 789. Statistics show that approximately 15% of voters utilize the SMS service to verify their registration status.
