Monthly External Merchandise Trade Statistics

Balance of Visible Trade showed a deficit of Rs 16,325 million in March 2025, higher by 15.4% compared to the previous month and lower by 7.5% compared to the corresponding month of 2024.

In March 2025, total imports increased by 17.8% compared to February 2025 and decreased by 1.8% compared to March 2024 whereas total exports increased by 22.2% compared to February 2025 and by 9.7% compared to March 2024.
