Des houles énergétiques s’approchent des Mascareignes par le sud-ouest et influenceront l’état de la mer autour de Maurice et Rodrigues.

La haute mer deviendra graduellement très forte avec des houles et des vagues d’environ 4 mètres sont attendues.
Les vagues pourraient déferler sur les zones côtières de basse altitude à l’ouest et au sud surtout à l’heure des marées hautes.
Il est fortement conseillé aux pêcheurs, aux plaisanciers et au public en général de ne pas sortir en mer et de ne pas s’aventurer sur les plages.

High-energy swells are approaching the Mascarenes from the south-west and will influence the sea state around Mauritius and Rodrigues.
The open sea will become gradually very rough with swells and the waveheight is expected to be around 4 metres.
The waves may break along the low-lying coastal areas to the west and the south especially during high tides.
Fishermen, pleasure-craft users and the public in general are strongly advised not to go out at sea and during high tides,do not to venture along those beaches.
