Motors Formula Team (MFT) informs that the contract with its driver Jann Mardenborough has been terminated on 04/08/2023 with 6 months of notice, for multiple breaches of contract and unprofessional behavior. It means that according to agreements signed, Jann stays under the management of MFT until 04/02/2024.
MFT is bitterly disappointed to read Jann’s post on social media dated 15/09/2023. Together, we had built a relationship on both private and professional levels for many years.
MFT’s work for Jann went beyond any contractual obligations, therefore MFT is saddened to see such disloyalty and to read the ungrounded accusations that intend to hurt MFT’s impeccable reputation.
Mr Huon, presented now as Jann’s friend (although MFT introduced them to each other only a few months ago), was an external advisor bound contractually ONLY to MFT as company (not its drivers) and had no legal rights to work with any of MFT’s clients directly. His contract was terminated with immediate effect on 01/08/2023 for severe actions against the contract. Additionally, both Jann and Mr Huon are legally not allowed to work with each other, and any contacts of MFT, for the next 5 years.
The legal procedures have been initiated and all the further comments will be made only by our legal representatives.
