Balance of Visible Trade showed a deficit of Rs 20,323 million in May 2023, higher by 54.9% compared to the previous month and by 31.8% compared to the corresponding month of 2022.
In May 2023, total imports increased by 38.8% compared to April 2023 and by 21.6% compared to May 2022 whisls total exports increased by 12.2% compared to April 2023 and by 3.4% compared to May 2022.
