Les parents qui ont inscrit leurs jeunes enfants pour la rentrée scolaire de 2023 dans le cycle primaire pourront consulter la liste de ceux qui ont été admis dans l’école de leurs choix le 22, 23 et 24 aout 2024.
The provisional list of pupils to be admitted to Grade 1 for next academic year will be displayed in all Government and Aided primary schools in the Republic of Mauritius on Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 August 2023.
Representations, if any, will be registered at the school where application was made on Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 August 2023 from 09 30 hrs to 15 00 hrs.
Late applications
Late applications will also be registered on the above mentioned dates and time at the school where admission is sought. Responsible parties should bring along the following documents:
(i) their original National Identity Card;
(ii) the original Birth Certificate of the child;
(iii) the original CEB and CWA bills in their own name for the months of February, March and April 2023.
In case of request for high demand schools, a proof of residence, certified by the police should also be produced. (Proof of residency form is available at school).
The Ministry wishes to remind parents that primary schooling is compulsory and any person who deprives his/her child of his/her right to education may be liable to a fine not exceeding Rs 10,000 and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years in accordance with section 37(3) of the Education Act 1957
