Mama Jaz 2024

This 9th edition of MAMA JAZ will be emotional and the chapters to stand honour our passion as much as our will for collective catharsis through celebration of human diversity and expression in creation, sound crafting and spontaneity.

We at Mama Jaz are an unstoppable force when we peacefully vibrate together, as one.

LATER LESIEL
MAMA KREASION ‘MANU DESROCHES’

How to bake the perfect Mauritian cake to celebrate the final MAMA JAZ Grand Concert date?

First, find a trending talented young composer and multi-instrumentalist with clear showmanship as much as an open mind. Then, carefully connect with an array of compatible seasoned professionals eager to stimulate each other with musical research and performance at heart. Finally, ensure symbiosis through a charismatic, tenured, respected, excellence driven and humble music master.

And, voilà: LATER LESIEL!

A unique experiment harnessing Manu Desroches’ career momentum and artistic aspirations into what will be a Mauritian act of reference and relevance; earth and sky as one within a specific time in a dedicated space through bodies spirited and bright.
