Le gouvernement a pris connaissance de l’organisation du 29 au 7 juillet 2024 par la Mauritius Rugby Federation de l’édition 2024 de cette compétition.
Cabinet has taken note that the Mauritius Rugby Federation would host the 2024 edition of the Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens tournament on 29 and 30 June 2024, and on 06 and 07 July 2024, at the Labourdonnais Sports Club, Mapou. The main objectives of the event would be to:
(a) promote rugby in Mauritius;
(b) provide an opportunity to local players to get regional exposure so as to benefit from foreign talents and skills; and
(c) showcase the quality of sports infrastructure available in Mauritius.
